Attorney Ma Manee Moua is licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. At the Moua Law Office PA, she practices in the following legal areas: car accidents, criminal law and family law. She is bilingual in English and Hmong.

Attorney Moua has handled numerous civil and criminal cases in the above two states. Previously, she was an Assistant Attorney General with the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice. In the Department’s Civil Litigation Unit, she performed a variety of legal services, through counsel and representation, to the Legislature, Governor, state agencies, and corporation counsel. She also provided enforcement of statutes under the Attorney General’s jurisdiction, conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and presented/argued cases in state and federal courts. Her areas of practice included: civil rights, medical, worker’s compensation enforcement, and civil litigation. In her former role as an Assistant Attorney General combined with her current private practice work, she has handled cases at the state and federal trial and appellate court levels.

Attorney Moua was a guest host for a monthly legal advice show, Xovtooj Cua HaivHmoob, on a Twin Cities radio station. She was also a contributing writer of the Auto Accident Q&A series for the Hmong Pages, a long-running, local community newspaper in Minnesota.

Attorney Moua has been a frequent speaker at various campuses and conferences. She has spoken at Macalester College (Minn.), Edgewood College (Wis.) and UW System institutions in Madison, Parkside, Green Bay and Oshkosh. She has been a speaker and trainer for state agencies including the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and children’s services. Her topics have included “Overview of the Criminal Justice System,” “Legal Issues and the Hmong,” and “Leadership and Issues Affecting Asian Americans.”
